Handmade Hair Pins

Hello again...Sorry for the long hiatus. I am trying to get back into the groove of things. After clearing most of the existing stock, I've decided to start fresh with new ideas and new designs - considering that I have been 'out of action' for almost 2 years now. 

First things first! If you recall, a bunch of these lovely handmade hair pins were sold in Nov 2010 (has it been THATTTT long?) and since it was such a big hit then, I've decided to make them again and this time, they are priced lower.

Please note that these are ahandmade and hence there may be slight irregularities e.g. the flower cabochon may not be dead centered on the hair pin and there may be a tiny blemish or two on the hair pins.  These hair pins are very sturdy and they are not sharp at the ends - and that makes it not only suitable for adults but also for little girls :)

Customized bracelet for Tharisha

This post is long overdue but better late than never right? I thought it's about time I update this blog on the customized pieces I made so far. This bracelet is a gift for 8yo Tharisha (what a lovely name!). Sharmini requested for a girly charm bracelet along the color theme of light pink/purple/pastels. Sharmini - I hope she likes it!!

Handmade Hair Pins

Finally, this post it up! I was toying with the idea of taking individual close up shots of each of the hair pins but decided against it as it'd take me a lonnng time to label and watermark the photos.

Here are 23 unique handmade hair pins - suitable for both adults and little girls.

Please note that these are handmade hence there may be slight irregularities e.g. the flower cabochon may not be dead centered on the hair pin and there may be a tiny blemish or two on the hair pins. If you want a close up shot of the hair pins, let me know, I can send them over to you. Nevertheless, these hair pins are very sturdy and they are not sharp at the ends - in case you're worried about it digging into your little girl's scalp.

Customized earrings for Jada

6yo Jada is one lucky girl because the co-founder of Two Pixels Photography, Sue gave her these handmade earrings for her birthday.

Apart from the pink heart shaped czech pressed glass beads, all the earrings are made of millefiori beads and they are all finished with some swarovski crystals.

Each pair is RM10.

Remakes are available while stock lasts.

These series of earrings with millefiori beads and swarovski crystals are my favourite so far as they are simple, the colors are vibrant and best of all, it's suitable for adults and little girls.

When I was 6 years old, I got my ears pierced and I remember wanting to accessorise with different types of pretty earrings. I'd give my 5yo these earrings but she hasn't got her ears pierced yet. It's not that I don't want her to get her ears pierced. She's just not ready yet. When's she's ready, I'd add these to her jewelry box (and yes! she has her own musical jewelry box!)

The Ashley-Ann hair pins series is back!

Here's my 5yo wearing the Shireen hair pin.

Customized for Shuenn Ee & Ellena

Sue, who's the co-founder of Two Pixels Photography ordered these as pressies for newborns, Shuenn Ee and Ellena. She was going to snap some photos of them wearing it and then the bracelets will be kept safely by their parents for keepsakes because of the very obvious that these bracelets are potential choking hazzards for kids below the age of 3.

This is the first time I made these for newborns. I wonder how they'd look on their precious little hands....

Eye Candy : Customized for Ashley

My 5yo daughter, being the girly girl that she is, always asks me to make her a bracelet. So I decided to string up some millefiori beads, personalized it with her name and there you go!

She loves it.

The beads are held together by an elastic band so that she can get more wear out of it without having to outgrow it so soon.

Eye Candy : Customized for Saffren

This bracelet was customized for Sylvia's 4yo daughter, Saffren (I like that name by the way!) This is a remake of the Merry Day bracelet but since this is for a 4yo, I changed the toggle clasp to a lobster clasp so that the length of the bracelet is adjustable. Also, I added a little 'Made with Love' charm at the end to give it more ummph!
