Eye Candy

Here are some custom-made bracelets which I have to share.

1. May

This bracelet was custom-made to be given as a gift from Rozzy to her friend, May. May's mom is currently going through chemo for cancer and had lost her father to cancer too a few years back. Rozzy wanted a bracelet for May that would come across as empowering, encouraging and graceful at the same time - something to potray her for the kind and patient person she is and was specific that she did not want any blue-colored stones on the bracelet.

After much thought and after several emails back and forth, we came up with this bracelet - named after May. It's a combination of gemstone and charm bracelet.

Materials
Moonstones - whitish/greyish/brownish gemstones
Jade - Orange
Rhodium-plated chain and toggle
Pewter charms
Stainless steel jump rings

Gemstone Significance
Moonstone is said to :
- get us in touch with our feelings and is linked with the moon
- be protectiove of women and nature and is a sacred stone of the moon goddess
- absorbs pain and illness

Jade is said to :
- bring the holder long and fruitful life.
- be known to be bring good luck and prosperity for centuries
- help the wearer to keep calm and accept the surroundings for what they are, instilling a sense of detachment to the chaos and not claiming it for your own

Charms Significance
Made with Love - bracelet designed and made with love from Rozzy to May
Butterfly - This charm represents her dad - who lost the battle to cancer and is no longer suffering- in a better place.
Key - The key represents the key of knowledge passed down by her parents to her (like any parent would do)
Flower - and despite all the pain and suffering that she has to endure to witness her dad and now mom fighting cancer, she is still graceful and strong for her mom.
Heart in lock - her love for her parents will forever be locked in her heart

2. Megan

Carolyn requested for a custom-made bracelet for her 4 yo princess, Megan. Megan is one extra-ordinary kid! She has excellent memory skills who, after being read a picture story twice can arrange 40 - 100 pictures in perfect sequence in less than 5 mins! She can also play the piano very well for her age! Way to go, Megan!

This charm bracelet represents Megan who:
- loves pretty dresses
- likes to dance like a ballerina
- loves to wear mommy's shoes.....
- is girlie and is an absolute sweetheart

Material
- rhodium-plated chain and toggle
- Pewter charms
- Stainless Steel enamel charms (Coloured charms)
- Cat's eye heart-shaped beads

3. Naomi

My first male customer, Aaron, who is a very talented, professional photographer (check out his work here) wanted a charm bracelet for his 3 yo princess, Naomi. He wanted charms that potrayed the living creatures of the sea, wanted a bell to go with it and also wanted it to look girlie (but of course!). I've named this bracelet after his daughter, Naomi.
